Ongoing Filing Requirements As Director of your own Limited Company you are required each year to report on the performance of your company to HMRC and Companies House by filing a set of annual accounts. We produce these accounts for you based on your business bank account statements, book-keeping records and receipts. We supply 24/7 online book-keeping facilities to enable you to keep your records up to date, alternatively we can maintain these records for you at a small additional cost. You as Director have final authority to approve and sign-off the accounts before we submit to HMRC and Companies House. We will go through the company accounts with you in detail and ensure any questions you may have are answered. If required, we can also file a Personal Tax Return on your behalf and chase any payments that are due from your Agency/Client (as part of our Credit Control service).
Payroll Processing We will liaise with HMRC on your behalf and advise you on withdrawals/salary generation and submission of quarterly PAYE & NIC payments. We complete and file the necessary payroll forms (e.g. P11D, P60, P35).
VAT Returns
Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns. VAT scheme administration (flat rate and standard) and online filing with payment normally by direct debit.
Limited Company Secretarial
Ensuring company information is up to date (e.g. Director contact details, Registered Office, Shareholder details)
Tax Guidance
You will receive regular tax guidance newsletters with practical advice on relevant issues.
What We’ll Ask of You
Maintain your onilne book-keeping records
If you have requested the Limited Company Registered Office be based with you, to forward any forms, letters or paperwork you receive from Companies House, HMRC or the VAT office to us as soon as you receive them
When we notify you, forward copies of your Limited Company bank account statements and original expenses receipts to enable us to complete the preparation and filing deadlines of your company accounts
It will of course be your responsibility as Company Director to pay all VAT, PAYE/NI and corporation tax returns in a timely manner to HMRC as advised (this can be paid directly from your limited company bank account via direct debit or cheque payment)
Please Note we do not provide contractor insurance if trading through a Limited Company (please check with your Agency/Client what insurance coverage you may require under your current contract e.g. Employers Liability Insurance, Public Liability Insurance, Professional Indemnity Insurance). We can however provide you with contact details of companies that provide this service.
